Bunbury+Rockingham Wednesday, March 3, 2010 3:00 AM
As early as 6:30am,we set off for a tiring journey to Bunbury. It took us 2 hours plus to drive there but it's a new experience. At first, we plan to see some dolphins at Dolphin Experience Centre which is located at Bunbury. But luck was not on our side,the dolphins never came to the coast,haiz. So we decide to go Rockingham after that. The next destination is the Penquin Island and yes we walk there. We walk through the shallow pristine water to the island. It is very fun doing that,here enjoy some pics......

Chinese New Year again,time really flies. Haiz,first time in my life never celebrate CNY. Kind of sad.......guess chances of celebrating will be lesser. Anyway Happy Lunar New Year!!!

Yesterday morning went to Canning River for kayaking. Borrow the double seater kayak from a South African colleague. Load up the kayak on our 4WD and here we go.......

Morning just had a suntan session at our courtyard. After that,take a bath then decide to go Burswood Casino. Reach there then took up the free membership over at the casino. Then Suz and myself change $50 of coins to play jackpot. Suz really got luck and won $2h plus,win about $150 minus the capital. Wat a fruitful day!! Beginner's luck.......

Today is the first Australia Day myself and Suz are enjoying. Although it is a public day,i have to work in the morning,haiz!!!! Skyworks is the biggest event here in Perth city,half an hour of fireworks display,cool eh. We are now waiting at other venue called Ashfield reserve in Bassendean for the small scale fireworks. Aussie,aussie,aussie......cheers

42 degrees celsius!!! Wat a hot day. Yesterday was the same,we have to stay at home on a Sunday,wat a waste! Hopefully tmw will be better but still 38 degrees. The feeling is like you are in a oven,ready to be cooked. Even the wind is hot,cannot believe it,really appreciate the temp back home in S'pore but not the humidity,hehe. Tat's it,cheers......

This is organized by my site manager who own this huge place. Asian-African nite obviously is to let all asians and africans to get together. Toodyay is the suburb where it is held,my manager own a big plot of land and he stays here,believe it or not,huge piece of land!!!
He rears three goats,a sheep and two dogs.
People queuing up for food-Emu meat,Kangaroo meat,
Wild boar meat, Lamb meat..............
Susan looks like a small kid when it comes to feeding the goats and sheep

This choo choo train is made up of oil drum barrel,all DIY.
The kids really enjoy themselves.

This golden retriever is really gentle,he really likes it
when people stroke him.
